About Lovalingo
Lovalingo is a React translation library that automates multilingual support for modern web applications. We build tools that let developers add translation to their React and Next.js apps with a single prompt, eliminating the need for manual JSON translation files.
Our Mission
We believe that making an app multilingual should take minutes, not weeks. Traditional i18n workflows require developers to manage thousands of translation strings across multiple JSON files. Lovalingo replaces that entire process with automatic AI-powered translation that integrates natively into the React render cycle.
The Team
Lovalingo was founded in 2025 in Switzerland by two co-founders:
- Charles Perret — Growth & Marketing. Charles leads the marketing website, SEO strategy, content creation, and business operations.
- Seb Mer — CTO & Product. Seb develops the NPM package, backend architecture, translation engine, and API.
What We Build
Our core product is the @lovalingo/lovalingo NPM package. It wraps any React app with a LovalingoProvider component and handles translation automatically. Key features include:
- Zero-flash rendering: the correct language displays before the page paints
- One-prompt setup: multilingual in under 60 seconds
- Automatic hreflang tags and translated meta descriptions for SEO
- Custom glossaries and exclusion tags for brand consistency
- A real-time dashboard for translation management
Why Lovalingo Exists
The rise of AI coding tools like Lovable, v0, Bolt, Base44, and Claude Code has created a new category of developers who build production apps in hours instead of months. However, adding multilingual support still required manual i18n work that broke the vibe coding flow. Lovalingo fills that gap by providing a translation solution that matches the speed of AI-assisted development.
